Over the past few months our Managed Underwriting team have made various new hires and promotions along with the implementation of process changes to the operational responsibilities of the team, in order to support the needs of our customers and the growth of our business. 

James Moore, Assistant Underwriter

• London
• James will be assisting in the management and oversight of our all B&C underwriting business, reporting to Lia Broad.
• James joins us from a Lloyd’s syndicate with experience in Commercial and Personal lines (specifically in High Value Homeowners business). 

Helen Song, Vice President, Underwriting Manager – Binding Authority 

• New York (Munich Re Specialty Insurance office)
• Helen will be assisting in the management and oversight of Great Lakes Insurance SE (GLISE) Binding Authority business, reporting to David Grimley. Helen will work alongside Jim Kranzberg, Jessica Wehrum, and Dennis Lee.

Ed Pomfret, Underwriting Analyst

• London
• Reporting to Chris Hoskins
• Ed will provide crucial support as we continue to invest in our modelling and analytical capabilities. This is a critical role for informing our underwriting decisions and steering.

Mike Gabor, Senior Vice President, Digital Underwriting

• Florida
• Reporting to Mike Kyriacou
• Mike is now transitioning away from his role in the Digital underwriting team and will support the general management of the GLISE business at portfolio level, including non-digital contracts. He will also have focus on budget and aggregate management.

Managed Underwriting Operations Team

Our Managed Underwriting Operations team includes Carmel Vindivich, Annette Suloff, Vera Ligon and Cathy Salvatoriello. They are all based in US locations. Carmel oversees the team while Annette and Vera have taken on responsibility for of Docucorp. Vera and Cathy are also managing the Aged Transactions. This is the team that will assist our coverholders with any Docucorp, Forms, and Errored Transactions needs.
