Our Claims Operations Team news

News
Jun. 2022

Over the past few months, we have experienced a number of changes in our Claims Operations Team here at Bell & Clements. We have welcomed new colleagues and refocused roles.

Meet Carol Waugh - Claims Operations Manager

Carol Waugh has replaced Adam Moore as Claims Operations Manager.  Carol joined in January 2022, from Allianz UK, where she spent over four years in claims management positions. She also has experience desktop adjusting at Sedgwicks after returning to the UK from South Africa, where her insurance career included independent loss adjusting and claims management in the Property & Casualty space.

You may recognise Carol's name from emails she has been issuing notifying our customers about recent CAT events. If you would like to receive these or want to add colleagues in your office to the circulation list, please get in touch with Carol directly at: carolwaugh@bellandclements.co.uk

New faces and roles in our Claims  Operations Team

We have two new Claims Analysts. Connie West, joined the business in January 2022, after passing her A Levels (History, English Lit, BTEC – Forensic Science). She was followed by Ciara Meehan in February. Ciara joins us having completed her BA (Hons) Business Economics - First Class Honours. Connie and Ciara are responsible for setting up new claims, servicing loss runs and processing payments.

Glenn Monks and Hannah Goodley, who previously had a combined function are now fully focused on their roles as Claims Operations Analysts. In addition to Glenn and Hannah, the other members of our Claims Operations team are Holly Young, Jonathan Gayton and Nancy Sandall

The Claims Operations Analysts ensure timely and efficient reconciliation of financial transactions across our claims portfolio, processing payments, recoveries and account replenishment.
